Spring Shopping at Las Americas Premium Outlets

Spring Shopping at Las Americas Premium Outlets

In Collaboration with Las Americas Premium Outlets. All the opinions are my own.

Spring is here and so is my birthday, which means it is the perfect opportunity to visit one of my favorite places in San Diego, Las Americas Premium Outlets. I love these outlets because there are stores for everyone, and it’s also where my favorite brands are. You can find Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Coach, Guess Factory, Marc Jacobs among many others.

Because it was my birthday week, I wanted to pamper myself and get some things that I had been eyeing. I had not been out shopping for an entire year, so there were many things I needed. For my own comfort, I planned my visit on a day and time where there would be less foot traffic. You know, I’m still getting used to “going out.” Everything was going well, I checked my phone and rain was on the horizon, but not until later in the afternoon, so I thought I was clear, but NO! Just like everything in these last couple of months, rain decided to come early and ruin my perfect plan (in addition to ruining my hair lol).

However, even with the rain, I managed to find amazing deals and I still felt victorious because, not only did I save money with the store discounts, but also with the additional coupons that I received for being a VIP Club member, which, by the way, you can be too. It's completely free. Once you sign up you will be on your way to receiving offers and coupons to use on your next visit. Plus, you don't want to miss the offers that are coming for the Benito Juárez holiday. Learn about all the offers available now by clicking here.

These are some of the deals I found at the Las Americas Premium Outlets

Kate Spade is known for having colorful, eye-catching, and trendy bags and accessories. Here you can always find great deals on everything, like these cardholders that were 75% off.

This season they have a lot of backpacks and tweed bags. I fell in love with the dotted crossbody bag that you can see below. And not only did I fall in love with it for the style, the color, and the functionality, but also for its price.

I have to confess that my two favorite contemporary brands are Michael Kors and Coach. So, whenever I come to Las Americas Premium Outlets I have to go to both. This time, Michael Kors surprised me. They have bags in all styles. At their store, you can find more than bags. They also have clothing, shoes, accessories, as well as a section for men. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen me show the men’s area in my stories.

My favorite bags during this visit were the black and white ones shown in the photo below; however, the one that stole my heart was the pastel blue bag. I feel that this little bag can turn a serious or boring outfit into something more interesting.

Another item that captivated me during my visit was the silver platform tennis shoes. O-M-G. I loved them! I don't wear tennis shoes very often, but I've been wanting a pair like these for a while. Unfortunately, I made the decision not to buy them and now that I'm home I’m regretting my decision. I hate when that happens! Don’t you?

Marc Jacobs recently joined the Las Americas Premium Outlets repertoire and they have a very good selection of bags and good discounts.

Marc Jacob’s popular bags are the camera-style bags (seen above). He is also known for having bags that have interchangeable straps. This makes the bags more versatile as you can change the strap color from serious to fun depending on the occasion. These bags are a good choice this spring because they are colorful and fun.

We are all concerned about our health and well-being, and so are Las Americas Premium Outlets who provide their guests with everything we need to keep safe and shop around with confidence. This is what I observed during my visit:

• They have disinfectant stations available at various points of entry (as seen in the photo below).

• The use of a mask is required in all stores and throughout the center.

• Every store you enter has disinfectant available to you at the entrance.

• Small stores are monitored so that few people are inside at a time.

• At the stores where you have to get in line to enter there are clear signs that tell us where we should stand in order to keep a safe distance from other patrons.

• Some stores, like Michael Kors, have dividers (like the ones you see above).

• You can find information on how to protect yourself on posters throughout the mall.

I really enjoyed my visit. After many months of not going out to a shopping center, I enjoyed walking the aisles, seeing the items I want to buy in person, and feeling safe while doing so. Even with the rain, it felt good to feel normal for a few hours while enjoying shopping at my favorite stores. I can’t wait for everything to return to normal, and for our shopping centers to be filled with people once again. Let’s all do our part to help re-activate the economy. Small businesses and large corporations both need us.

So, if you are looking to renew your style this spring, save on amazing brands, or simply see what’s available, visit Las Americas Premium Outlets who are here to help you save money whether it rains or shines.
