Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette and Highlighter Palette Review and Swatches

Urban Decay has been on a roll lately, especially when it comes to eyeshadow palettes. In the last weeks, they released the Naked Cherry Collection inspired by cherries (obviously lol). I have to confess that when I first saw the promos for it, it looked cute, but I did not feel like it was a "must-have." It wasn't until I used it and played with it that I FELL IN LOVE with most of the products in this collection! Here's why...

I think that Urban Decay changed something in the eyeshadow formula because for some reason the eyeshadows in this palette are a bit more powdery that previous Naked palettes. With that said, although I did encounter more fall out, I did notice that the shadows were gliding on soooo smoothly and they were extremely pigmented. I love them! My eyelids have been a bit dry lately and other eye shadows accentuate that, but not these! These were so easy to work with and they were so pigmented that I immediately fell in love.

Another product in this collection that I'm obsessed over is the Naked Cherry Highlight And Blush Palette. I have not tried many of the blushes or highlighters by Urban Decay, so I was not sure what to expect. I thought the palette looked cute, but I was not sure if the highlighters would accentuate my oversize pores. I'm happy to report that they did not. As a matter of fact, the highlighters work amazingly with my skin. Both highlighters pop without being overpowering and they glide-on very nicely. They also last for a long time! The blush also worked very well. If you are a highlight lover, you must check out this palette.

The eyeliners, Black Market & Love Drug, are very good. All of the 24/7 liners by Urban Decay are amazing and these were no exception. A product in this collection that I do not really care for is the Cherry All Nighter Setting Spray. I LOVE the All Nighter (Original), but the scent on this one was a bit too overpowering for me.

This collection also has three lipsticks, Devilish, Juicy, and Cherry. Devilish is a pink metallic color with a bit of glitter. I personally really liked this color. It is my favorite one of the three. Juicy is a "golden" color that when you add it to your lips becomes almost clear (on my lips at least). It does have a lot of chunky glitter that remains on your lips even after taking it off. I personally love glittery lipsticks, so this one was a hit for me too, but I can see some people having issues with it due to the amount of glitter specks.  Cherry is, of course, a cherry color lipstick. You absolutely need a lipliner with it (I was not wearing a lipliner on the photo below). Cherry is a bit difficult to work with for me, and you have to be very careful not to get it everywhere on your face. I really wish that Urban Decay would just come out with liquid lipsticks. I'm sure they would nail it!

Overall, this collections is very cohesive and complete. My only complaint is the scent on the setting spray and my desire for liquid lipsticks. Hopefully in the near future we will see liquid lipsticks in their collections; however, I do love the Vice Lipstick formula, it is one of my favorite formulas out there.
