5 Minute Holiday Eyes With Milani Cosmetics + Giveaway

My favorite holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) are almost here and with them comes preparing our outfits and makeup looks; however, many of us spend the day preparing to host those special evenings, which sometimes leaves us with zero time to do our makeup! For me, at least, during Christmas it doesn't matter how soon we begin to prepare the Tamales, we always run out of time! That is why today I will teach you a 5 minute eye look with Milani products that is easy to achieve and that will complement almost any outfit!

I don't know about you, but spending time with my family is something that I'm always looking forward to. We do not have any family in San Diego; therefore, my parents, my brother, and I (along with our significant others) make sure to spend quality time with each other on these special occasions. In Mexico we used to go to Posadas. Everyone in our street cooperated and we had a huge festivity where everyone had a role and was responsable for something. I miss those times a TON! Even though there are Posadas in the U.S. as well, they are not the same. That is why being together is always the best way to spend the holidays as we can speak about the people and customs we miss and enjoy our favorite Mexican food together!

So, whether you are attending a Thanksgiving party, a Posada, or a Christmas or New Year's Celebration, this eye look will help you be in the holiday mood and will minimize the time you spend getting ready and maximize the time with your family and friends! Plus, these products are very affordable and can easily be found at CVS. You don't need to break the bank to look beautiful this holiday season!

Oh, and in the event that you do not have 5 minutes to do your eyes or face, make sure to stick a color Lipstick in your purse! A lipstick that has a pop of color will give your lips and face a festive touch. The Brandy Berry Color Statement Lipstick is a MUST have!

5 Minute Holiday Eyes

If you are like me and have very light eyebrows, filling in the gaps and defining them is a must! The Stay Put Brow Gel is very easy to use, it does not look harsh, and it comes with an excellent quality brush!

The second step is to prime the eyes with an Eyeshadow Primer that will help your make up last past midnight, and a base that will make any color you add on top pop. In here I'm using Milani's eyeshadow Primer and the first color in the Milani Fierce Foil Eye Shine 03 palette as a base. This is a super quick step that can easily be achieved with your fingers!

On top of the eyeshadow base I will use Bella Eyes Eyeshadow in Bella Copper and then I will add Bella Mandarin on the outer part of the eye and I will extend it to the crease.

Then, I will add a little of Bella Taupe on the outer part of the eye (as pictured above) and Bella Emerald below the lower lash line.

I continued by adding the Bella Chiffon highlight on the brow bone and on the tear duct area and then I added the Fierce Foil Eyeliner in Black Gold Foil and a regular eyeliner on the rim of the eyes.

You could end by just adding a little mascara, but if you have extra time you can add eyelashes (I recommend the half- lashes as they are quicker to apply), blush and highlighter to make your facial features stand out! FYI: The Milani Rose Blush Collection is my favorite. In Here I'm using the tone Romantic Rose!

Lastly, and as I mentioned above, it does not matter if you don't have time to do your eyes, just make sure you have a lipstick that will give your face a pop of color. Milani's Color Statement Lipstick in Brandy Berry is very hydrating and it is the perfect tone for any fall or holiday look!
