Theres a saying in Spanish that says: cada cosa se parece a su dueño! I'm not sure if there is an exact equivalent translation in English, but the literal translation is "everything looks like its owner." I'm reminded of that saying every day because Vicky and I share a lot of similar interests. Since the day we met, we clicked immediately. Vicky is a lot like me, she likes fashion and she enjoys looking cute every day. She loves coming out on my vlogs, wearing dresses, and going to the store. She is my companion and my bundle of joy. There is one thing, however, that we do not share, and it is her disgust for the mailman and the paletero (ice cream man) who sometimes passes by our house ringing his bell. I like paletas (lollipops) and I love the mailman, especially when she brings me packages from my online orders hehe.
Like me, Vicky is also very picky with food. That is why I always try to change her food once in a while so that she doesn't get bored. Since she is a small dog (although she believes she is a Pitbull), I try to choose dry food that comes in small bites; otherwise, she will not eat it. For her, the smaller, the better.

Our pets depend on us to help them maintain a healthy life, and it is our duty as pet parents to look for the appropriate food for them. It is also our duty to take them out every day for walks so that they can do their necessary exercise. Plus, it helps our health too! For me, taking her out for a walk is not something that I dread, it is something that I enjoy. I like seeing her run free at the park and play with other dogs. It is then when I notice the benefits, or lack thereof, of her food. Some food can make her feel heavy and that is something you do not want for your pet.
At home we also try to keep her active. She has many toys to choose from and we play together all the time. Vicky loves those small toys that have a noisy "bag" inside of them. Since Target has everything that you need for your personal needs and those of your dog, I also bought her a new toy because, just like we like to have updated gadgets, our pets like to get new toys once in a while too.
A lot of people may say that Vicky is a little spoiled, but the truth is that I'm only giving back to her a little bit of the happiness she provides us. Some of you who follow my daily vlogs know that she is a huge part of our family. She goes almost everywhere with us, including Tecate, where she enjoys visiting her cousins on the other side of the border and eating water based ice cream.
Overall, Vicky is like a daughter to me. We bond in many ways, but one of them is through fashion. Today I want to honor my best friend, my fashion companion and the first Latina fashion blogger Chiweenie!
