Fashion in the Valley: A Night of Fashion and Giving Back

Fashion in the Valley: A Night of Fashion and Giving Back

Fall is just around the corner, and many stores are clearing up their summer fashion racks to transition into fall essentials. On September 19, San Diego's  Fashion Valley  mall will be hosting their annual fashion show, Fashion in the Valley, at the Center Court (near Macy's). The event will showcase fall fashion clothing and accessories from Ted Baker London, Tous, The Limited, Tommy Hilfiger, Banana Republic, Stuart Weitzman and White House | Black Market, among others.

But, this night is not only to celebrate the beginning of Fall. Fashion Valley, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, and Father Joe's Villages are working together to give back to the community by installing clothing donation barrels at Old Navy and at the Guest Services booth. The COMPASSION ROCKS Clothing Drive will begin September 12, and it will end on September 26.  All donations will be distributed among the homeless residents of Father Joe's Villages

The show is free and open to the public from the second level or open area around the event venue. The first 50 people that donate new or gently used clothing on the night of the 19th, will have the opportunity to win a front-row seat to the fashion show. In addition, the first 200 attendees to arrive, will receive swag bags with discounts, coupons, and more.

Don't miss out on an opportunity to see what fall has in store for us, and to give back to the community through your donations. Remember, as we clean out our closets to prepare for fall, we must take out anything that we will no longer use, and of course, we must remember to donate our good quality items to those who will be able to give them better use.
